We welcome family and friend groups.  The houses sleep a maximum of 33 guests total (including 3 on air beds).  At this time 45 people or less during the day is what the llarge individual homes can handle.  Any parties or events must have prior approval.  Call (573) 465-1264 to discuss any questions.

Yes it is.  We would love for you to enjoy the view from your "temporary" home's yard or porch.  For your safety, we ask that you keep the driveway clear and do not walk on the farm or enter any other buildings.

No animals, no exceptions (inside or outside).  We are in a rural area with wildlife and also have sheep dogs that protect our animals.  For your pets safety please board them or keep them at home.

Yes.  Quiet time is from 9PM to 9AM.  Phelps County has many great local options for adult beverages.  We welcome anyone who wants to enjoy responsibly.  

Sure, but don't get crazy.  Pool is for guests staying at Prairie Base only.  Please be respectful of other guests and of the property.  We ask that you contact us prior to planning any gatherings so we know who we can expect on the farm.

Our livestock are moved frequently as part of a regenerative grazing program across hundreds of acres.  The weather and grass growth determine their location.  If you would like to see them up close call (573) 465-1264 to see if Travis is available.  Please do not go on the farm without an owner escort.

Check in is at 4:00 PM.  Check out is at 10:00 AM.

These houses use a septic system for waste removal.  Please do not flush anything but (a reasonable amount of ) toilet paper.  This means no wipes or personal products.  

The pool is open seasonally to all guests of Prairie Base from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9 AM to 9 PM.  It is NOT heated and IS swim at your own risk.  No extra guests without prior approval.  We do not assume liability for any injuries and ask that all guests act responsibly.  Please follow the pool rules posted and provided in your booking agreement and home.
